DESCRIPTION

An ecologic puzzle game that evokes the fun of classics like Candy Crush and invites to discover new twists in the mechanics to save natural sanctuaries in the Amazon Rain forest from the antagonist, XT-Emporium. I built a narrative and created characters that would like to get to the heart of our players, I added twists in the mechanics tied to the lore of the game so it won't be one more match-3, with high adrenaline survival levels. The art is inspired in beautiful animations with detail and texture.

Considered the first commercial release of my studio Mampel Skyliner; a game with in-game economy, business model and aiming to have high quality as the mobile market demands. The project has also an internship program to train and give the first experience in the industry to graduates or under-represented developers from Bolivia and  the world. 

The game is also a project to contribute to the solutions to environmental problems, trying to propose a universal, standard recycling system and encourage to eco-friendly habits in our community.  There is an AVAILABLE SOFT LAUNCH VERSION HERE. DESIGN AND PRODUCTION PROCESS

About my workflow, I created the GDD, I proposed a couple of changes in the mechanics and added a level of hierarchy on the matching-process. We are building the product for two audiences that came as product of user research of similar products. I went to a strict process of recruitment looking for people that showed potential to join or switch to the industry or newly graduates. I am on charge of the UI/UX, I am learning and assisting with Art Direction as I also managed to get mentorship on Art Direction so that our Art Team works in the best way possible, I am leading the team under Agile methodologies and Kanban. I also do usability testing to receive feedback from potential players, we have been on months of iterations already.
